The One WSB is committed to ensuring that all staff, volunteers and members are safe from any types of harm and abuse. The World Safe from Harm Policy requires that all staff and volunteers create and maintain a safe environment for all, anywhere and at all times. The policy prevents and sanctions any kind of physical, emotional or moral abuse in Scouting not only towards young people but towards any other Scout and stakeholders including staff members and volunteers. All staff are required to take mandatory trainings to meet the Safe from Harm standards.
As outlined in the WOSM Safe from Harm procedures, all staff have a duty to care and report any potential harmful situation they are going through or witness to safefromharm@scout.org.
