One WSB Values

As part of the Fit for the Future transformation, the OneWSB Values were renewed. This process included staff consultations, a Creation Workshop in January 2024 with staff from all Support Centres, and a global staff survey in October 2024.

The result is a set of four clear and memorable values that reflect who we are today and how we want to work together. Rooted in the Scout Promise and Law, these values support the renewed WSB Purpose Statement and guide the daily interactions, decisions, and culture across the World Scout Bureau.

Respectful

We foster an environment of trust, accountability and transparency by embracing our diversity as a strength and ensuring open, honest communication. Throughout our global Scouting community, we promote safe spaces and inclusivity to make sure everyone feels heard, valued, and treated with fairness and respect.

People Centred

We prioritise the well-being, development, and empowerment of people, placing  them at the centre of our decisions and actions. By fostering a supportive, healthy and inclusive work environment and culture, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Impactful

We are committed to delivering meaningful and sustainable impact that positively affects young people, volunteers, and communities. Our efforts are driven by a results-focused approach of service to our members, ensuring that our collective actions lead to lasting, measurable impact.

Collaborative

We believe in the power of teamwork, shared knowledge and integrity, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration. By working with and for National Scout Organizations, young people, volunteers, funders and partners, we leverage our collective leadership to  create greater change and impact across our worldwide Scout Movement
