As an essential part of their responsibilities to the WSB, staff often have access to a large amount of information, some of which is confidential. Staff possessing confidential information hold a special position of trust and confidence and are prohibited from transmitting or otherwise communicating this information to other staff and interns who have no need to know or to parties outside the WSB.

Such information, may include but is not limited to:

  • Staff payroll related data;
  • Financial data or membership information;
  • Computer programmes, applications, platforms or software developed by the WSB;
  • Terms and conditions of business arrangements between the WSB and other Member Organisations or other parties;
  • Privileged communications between the WSB and their legal counsel;
  • Any other proprietary or confidential information not generally available to the public. This refers to verbal discussions, as well as written information, including but not limited to WSB telephone listings, addresses, organisational charts, etc.

Any release of confidential information shall, in every case, require the written consent of a member of the Senior Management Team.
